Multinational and Fortune 500 companies send representatives to serve as guest speakers, on career panels, and act as course clients.

Small companies and non-profit organizations also participate in the department’s courses and interact with its students.
In turn, students find a wealth of opportunities for paid internships, giving them an opportunity to apply their new business knowledge in a corporate setting. Students have interned with companies such as Worthington Industries, Pusateri, J.P. Morgan Chase, Nicolas & Co., CPA, UBS Financial Service, Steve Madden, Décor & You, Deloitte & Touche, Fifth Third Bank, Honda R&D Americas Inc., Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Nationwide Insurance, Ohio Department of Commerce, The Columbus Zoo, and Volvo Group North America, Inc.
