Yellow Ribbon Program for Veterans
Otterbein is proud to be a participant in the national to help U.S. military veterans attend college and earn a degree. Yellow Ribbon eligible veterans, and their spouses and children, who apply and are accepted to Otterbein are able to attend tuition free.
Dự đoán xổ số Khánh HòaThe Yellow Ribbon Program expands the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, which pays up to the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition for eligible veterans, by working with participating institutions to cover tuition costs higher than the state school fees. The Office of Veteran’s Affairs will pay a portion of a veteran’s tuition and Otterbein will provide a grant to pay the remaining amount, allowing eligible veterans to attend tuition free.
In addition, eligible dependents will receive a monthly housing allowance and an annual books and supplies stipend. Service members enrolled in the Post-9/11 GI Bill program may also transfer unused education benefits to their spouses or children.

NOTE – Transfer students only need to submit an official high school transcript if they have earned less than 30 semester hours or less than 45 quarter hours of college credit after high school.
- With the availability of the ACT and SAT scores being disrupted by COVID-19, Otterbein has adopted a test optional admission policy for Spring, Summer and Fall terms 2021. Students will be able to select through the Common Application if they would or would not like test scores to be used in the evaluation of their admission application. Students with high school GPA of 2.75 or lower are encouraged to submit a test score if available. Students will not be disadvantaged for the submission of test scores, so, if available, we would recommend submitting official scores.

Leadership Degree Completion Program
Dự đoán xổ số Khánh HòaMaking the most of prior college credit is the smartest way to learn. Otterbein’s Leadership degree completion program is designed especially for the adult transfer student who wants to utilize prior college credit, or has an Associate’s degree and wants to complete a Bachelor’s degree. All classes are offered in the evenings, making it possible for busy working adults to attend class.
The Leadership degree completion program consists of 64 semester hours of coursework. A total of 120 semester hours are needed for graduation. Your previously earned hours will count toward your Otterbein degree.
Undeclared means you’re still exploring your options. The Center for Student Success will help you stay on track with extra advising, strengths assessment and immersive experiences to help you decide what program suits you best.

Costs & Financial Aid
We believe in rewarding talent, investing in potential, and doing what it takes to keep Otterbein accessible and affordable. Most adult students are surprised to discover that private schools can be just as affordable as public schools once all the factors are taken into account, such as tuition, merit aid, scholarships and financial aid offerings.
Scholarships for Adult Transfer Students
- Presidential Scholarship $15,500 (valued at more than half tuition!)
Awardees have an accumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher of college level work
- Provost Scholarship $11,000 (valued at more than a third tuition!)
Awardees have an accumulative GPA of 2.71-3.4 of college level work
- Alumni Scholarship $8,000 (nearly a quarter tuition!)
Awardees have an accumulative GPA of 2.0-2.7 of college level work
Transfer students with less than 30 earned credit hours will be considered for the same scholarships, but their complete academic history will be used (high school GPA, class rank, ACT/SAT scores and college GPA). All students are eligible to file for need-based aid by completing the FAFSA form at .
Columbus State Community College Scholarship

Students save on housing and meal plan costs by continuing to live at home while attending Otterbein. This scholarship is renewable as long as the student is enrolled full time and maintains a 2.75 GPA while at Otterbein.
Steps to Apply for Financial Aid

- Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is the first step in the financial aid process. You can fill out and submit your application through FAFSA on the Web at . Electronic filing is the fastest and easiest way to apply for financial aid. Be sure to list Otterbein University and our Title IV school code 003110.
- If requested, please submit any additional documentation to the Office of Financial Aid. Once you are an admitted student and we have received your FAFSA and all required supplemental documents you will received a need-based aid package.
Special Transfer Credit Evaluation Offer

Otterbein also accepts credits for military coursework listed on a military transcript with ACE recommendations. Credits are evaluated by the registrar in consultation with academic departments. Credits that do not align with specific Otterbein courses will be awarded general elective credit. Actual grades are not transferred and thus are not included in the Otterbein grade point average. If academic credentials are submitted in a non-English language, a World Education Services, Inc. (WES) course-by-course evaluation might be required. for details and instructions.
